The Conference on Trauma, Dissociation, and Psychosis

How do early relational traumas affect our mental health? How can we understand and treat complex conditions such as dissociation and psychosis in light of life history, neurobiology, and relational experiences?

Welcome to the Fifth International Conference on Trauma, Dissociation, and Psychosis in Kristiansand, June 10–12, 2026.

The conference brings together leading professionals, researchers, and experts by experience from both Norway and abroad. Among the speakers are Ruth Lanius, Anabel Gonzalez, and Katherine Berry. The program offers space for both clinical depth and experiential knowledge.

Pre-conference – June 10:
Workshop with Anabel Gonzalez on EMDR for complex conditions, psychosis, and dissociation.

Main Conference – June 11–12:
Lectures, parallel sessions, panel discussions, and cultural contributions. Topics range from neurodiversity and substance use to relationships, attachment, and transdiagnostic treatment approaches.
