The conference on trauma, dissociation, and psychosis

How do early relational traumas affect our mental health? How can we understand and treat complex conditions such as dissociation and psychosis in light of life history, neurobiology, and relational experiences?

Welcome to the fifth international conference on trauma, dissociation, and psychosis in Kristiansand, June 10 to 12, 2026.

The conference gathers leading professionals, researchers, and experience providers from both Norway and abroad. You will meet, among others, Ruth Lanius, Anabel Gonzalez, and Katherine Berry. The program allows for both clinical deepening and experiential knowledge.

Pre-conference June 10:

Workshop with Anabel Gonzalez on EMDR for complex conditions, psychosis, and dissociation.

Conference June 11–12:

Lectures, parallel sessions, panel discussions, and cultural contributions. The topics range from neurodiversity and substance use to relationships, attachment, and transdiagnostic treatment.
